El 19 de abril de 1825 desembarcaron procedentes de Buenos Aires- en la playa uruguaya de la Agraciada, treinta y tres patriotas con el propósito de libertar a su tierra. Se dirigieron a Florida e imploraron la gracia de la libertad delante de la imagen de María Santísima. Al conseguir la tan deseada liberación, le ofrecieron la patria naciente. On April 19, 1825, thirty-three patriots disembarked from Buenos Aires on the Uruguayan beach of La Agraciada with the purpose of liberating their land. They headed to Florida and implored the grace of freedom in front of the image of the Most Holy Mary. Upon achieving the much-desired liberation, they offered him the nascent homeland.
