Summary

The Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization is seeking an Associate Director of Hispanic Ministry to serve, primarily, but not exclusively, the Hispanic communities throughout the archdiocese. The Associate Director of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization will work to provide a broad-based ministry guided by the principles of the V Encuentro and Renewing the Vision. This is a full time, 12 month, benefits eligible position. This position requires the candidate to be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.

Education/Experience

– Bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry, theology or related field is required.
– Master’s degree in pastoral ministry, theology or related field is preferred.
– Minimum of three years of experience in ministry with Hispanic youth and ministry leaders and must be fully bi-lingual English and Spanish.
– Thorough understanding of Catholic teaching and ability to teach.
– Knowledge of the principles of V Encuentro and Renewing the Vision.
– Organizational and management skills are required.
